Revision in Physiology illustrated

After a few months of not using my knowledge, I realize it becomes a bit difficult to recall out of my brain cells.Reasons are lack of usage, improper storage, getting older, etc but worst it gets denatured, liquidified, or vaporized into another form. It means untraccable and considered lost or missing in action. Here some basic down to the first root of physiology, which is a topic about element and its related topic.

-What is the difference between a compound and a molecule?
A molecule is formed when two or more atoms join together chemically. A compound is a molecule that contains at least two different elements. All compounds are molecules but not all molecules are compounds.

-Molecular hydrogen (H2), molecular oxygen (O2) and molecular nitrogen (N2) are not compounds because each is composed of a single element. Water (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) are compounds because each is made from more than one element. The smallest bit of each of these substances would be referred to as a molecule. For example, a single molecule of molecular hydrogen is made from two atoms of hydrogen while a single molecule of water is made from two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.

Imam Ali's Mathematical Brilliance

Imam Ali bin Abi Thalib (karramallahu wajhah) was endowed with a quick, sharp, incisive, mathematical mind. Here are a few interesting stories in which Imam Ali's mathematical brilliance revealed itself.

Whole Number and not a Fraction

One Day a Jewish person came to Imam Ali (krw), thinking that since Imam Ali thinks he is too smart, I'll ask him such a tough question that he won't be able to answer it and I'll have the chance to embarrass him in front of all the Arabs.

He asked "Imam Ali, tell me a number, that if we divide it by any number from 1-10 the answer will always come in the form of a whole number and not as a fraction."

Imam Ali (krw.) looked back at him and said, "Take the number of days in a year and multiply it with the number of days in a week and you will have your answer."

The Jewish person got astonished but as he was a polytheist (Mushrik), he still didn't believe Imam Ali (krw.). He calculated the answer Imam Ali (krw.) gave him.

To his amazement he came across the following results:
- The number of Days in a Year = 360 (in Arab)
- The Number of Days in a Week = 7
- The product of the two numbers = 360x7=2520

Now...

2520 ÷ 1 = 2520
2520 ÷ 2 = 1260
2520 ÷ 3 = 840
2520 ÷ 4 = 630
2520 ÷ 5 = 504
2520 ÷ 6 = 420
2520 ÷ 7 = 360
2520 ÷ 8 = 315
2520 ÷ 9 = 280
2520 ÷ 10= 252

Ali bin Abi Thalib r.a Mencadangkan Peristiwa Hijrah Nabi Sebagai Asas Tahun Islam

Berikut adalah 3 catatan berkaitan Hijrah Rasulullah s.a.w
  1. Dalam risalah DAWAMA mengenai Ensiklopedia Dunia [i] mencatitkan :

Perbezaan pengiraan takwim Islam, Kristian

RAMADHAN+6 HARI SYAWAL= 1 TAHUN

MUQADDIMAH

kaedah kira2nya begini:
30 X 10 =300
6 X 10 = 60;
jadi, 300 +60= 360 HARI.

WALLAHU A’LAM.

Pernah dgr word 'backstabber'

Backstabber? Ape tu? Sounds sophisticated...or do you ever heard of "enemy in/under the blanket"? correct me if I'm wrong. The englishman call it musuh dalam selimut. Pretty weird isn't it? Our enemy hiding in a blanket or the blanket. Why a blanket? The reason is if you have many blankets, mostly likely the enemy is hiding under one of your blanket, surprisingly you do not know which blanket is, and the enemy want to surprise you. Anyhow, it is up to wheather you want to use 'a' or 'the' blanket. 'in/under' refers to a blanket which has a pocket or double layer blanket or a comforter which has function like a blanket. Well, too much words for blanket. Now let us determine wheather backstabber is an enemy in/under the blanket or not. First determine your enemy. If your enemy is unseen thing, let us put it aside and find any living enemy. Fine, now your enemy is a cockroach. Make sure you know the number of your blanket, and search the your respective & respected enemy beneath of every blanket. If you can't find it then the cockroach is your real enemy. After that, do sleep with all your blankets. Don't forget to on your videocam before you sleep. Next morning, play your videocam and look for any movement of your enemy. If your enemy is not using any knife and just ran away from yout blanket, thus your enemy is not a backstabber, just a runner. So as a conclusion, backstabber is not the enemy in/under the blanket.

Generalization

Pernah jalan kat pasar terjumpa org mintak sedekah? Pernahkan.. Kalu tgk cerita kungfu cina, org yg minta sedekah terer kungfu tau. Jangan main2. Silap2 nahas kita.
Pernahkah anda makan fastfood seperti KFC, McD, Kenny R, Pizza H, S Pizza, Kyros K, DeliF, Big A, D Donut dan macam2 fastfood lagi? Paling kurang pun ayam goreng pasar malam.. Pernahkan.. Tak baik tipu2. Pernah makan mengaku jelah..Ok. Pernahkah anda makan makanan segera tersebut 2-3kali di kedai berbeza tp rasa sama sedap dan kemudian anda buat keputusan bahawa KFC sedap, McD sedap, Ayam goreng pasar malam ni sedap dan seterusnya?Adakah keputusan tersebut is a GENERALIZATION? Kalu x pernah, mmg tipula.. Pernah tgk mat saleh tak fasih BM? Pernah terjumpa org melayu x fasih bahasa mandarin? Banyakkan..apetah lg bahasa tamil..Apa yg kita simpulkan after saw these people? Tak pandai dalam bahasa tersebut. Padahal dorang cuma tak fasih je kan. Do we know that these particular people really 'x pandai'? Tidak kan.... Kita cuma menggunakan konsep GENERALIZATION je. Kita manusia ni sometimes good observer, but not a good judger. Sebab tu tak jadi judger of justice kan.. Even judger pun not a good judger... Sometimes the proverb " Don't judge the book by its cover" boleh pakai. Sometimes x leh pakai...adakah saya men'GENERALIZATION'kan sometimes?..Wallahu'alam

Mana satu lg tebal kalu based on kulit buku dan gambar terbalik ni?

Hari ni ternampak coklat ni kat IGA Broadway...

White choc je..luar salut dessicated coconut. Sebab ada memory sedap, maka terbelilah 2 kotak..Satu utk my wife, satu utk diri sendiri. So puas hati makan tanpa ada saingan. Alhamdulillah. Rezeki pada hari Jumaat!

Yang bagusnya, white choc tu cair..takyah nak sibuk fikir pelik2 nape coklat beku..sebab kalu choc beku atau dlm bentuk pepejal ..mesti ada something mcm lemak kan.Kalu kita masak sup tulang lembu, kalu sejuk nampak tak lemak terapung-apung at the top layer of the soup..Ke tak pernah nampak? Ish3x, kesian.Takpelah.So,kalu lemak yg diletak kat coklat, faham2 jelah..takkan lemak manusiakan...kan.... kan kan..apepun... sebab hari ni Jumaat, banyakkanlah berselawat kpd Junjungan Besar Nabi Kita, Nabi Akhir Zaman, Muhammad Al-Musthofa SAW.

Italy Turns To Islam

by C. Pedrick
Twenty one years ago, Rosario Pasquini (Danilo) was a heavy smoker, drank more whisky than was good for him and led what he now describes as a nightmare existence, tormented by the stress of having to succeed in his job as a lawyer in the busy northern city of Milan. Pasquini, born in Fiume in 1934, graduated from the University of Milan in 1957 and became a Muslim in 1974. Now in his 50s, Pasquini calls himself Abdurrahman. He leads the Friday Prayer at the Mosque of Il Misericordioso and is a teacher of Arabic and Islamic culture. He is also the author of L'Islam Credo, Pilastri, Vertice e Perfezione and Muhammad, L'Inviato di Dio.
Abdurrahman still lives in Milan, but he has traded his lawyer's briefcase for something that gives him more satisfaction. He is now editor of a newspaper called "Il Messagero del Islam", (The Messenger of Islam) an eight page tabloid written for the growing numbers of Italians who, like the former lawyer himself, decided to convert to the Muslim faith.

In Italy the ranks of Christians who have converted to Islam are swelling daily. Just as in France and England whose most famous convert is the former pop singer Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam), a growing number of Italians are turning to the Muslim faith for spiritual solace.

"Every day, people come in wanting to know more about Islam and the conversion process," said Abdurrahman, who edits his newspaper from an office at Milan's Islamic Center. "Yesterday it was one, today there were two. They come from all over, from different classes and backgrounds, and they all have different reasons for doing it."
Italian Christians who have decided to embrace Islam include engineers, artists, intellectuals, students and even a nun. Some have taken the step because they married a Muslim, while for others it is a purely intellectual or religious choice. But whatever the initial reason, converts say their final decision has almost always been accompanied by a feeling of frustration with too much consumerism and stress, and a yearning for a spiritual dimension that has become lost in most of Western society. Some of the people who decide to become Muslims do so because, like me, they are going through a very difficult period in their life," he says. "Others have family problems. There are even some who are high school students and have converted in secret because they are scared to tell their parents."
Abdurrahman himself received support and understanding from his own family. He says, "They took the view that I was old enough to make my mind up for myself, and let me get on with it. In fact, my mother, who is 85 years old and has remained a Catholic, recently said to me: "I Praise Allah, because if you had continued to live the way you did before you converted, you would be dead by now."
He continues, "At the time I was prey to a terrible mental stress, brought on by the competitiveness that is so prevalent in our type of society. After a long period of searching, I finally arrived at Islam which says that no one except God has the right to judge and dominate other men. This is what I was looking for. For me it represented a liberation from a society which believes itself to be free, but which instead forces its members to bow under the yoke of many, many different demands."
Like many converts, Abdurrahman embraced his new faith whole heartily. He learned Arabic so he could read the Quran and participate in mosque life without having to rely on translations. His command of the language has become so good that he now teaches it. The former lawyer's interpretation of the Muslim faith is strict and unyielding. As well as announcements of births, marriages and conversions, his Muslim newspaper carries advice on how Italian converts should behave. For example, he advises that a woman who intends to drive her car beyond the boundaries of her own neighborhood should make sure she is accompanied by a relative.
One of the factors that contributed to his conversion was a meeting that developed into a strong friendship with Jordanian born, Ali Abu Shwaima, then a medical student, now the director of the Milan Islamic Center. Shwaima's wife is also Italian. Like Pasquini, she decided to convert to Islam and changed her name from Paola Moretti to Khadija, after the Prophet Muhammad's first wife. Today, she recalls with some amusement the first time she ventured out into the streets wearing a veil. That was 15 years ago, when Italians were far less used to seeing Muslims than they are now. "I felt everyone's eyes on me. It was rather embarrassing," she said.
" I could hear the other women in the supermarket whispering things like, "who is she, a nun?' Or 'Maybe she belongs to some sect.' But that kind of attitude no longer bothers me, she said. I'm sure of the choice I made. It certainly wasn't easy at the beginning, when I made my conversion. But wearing the veil is a duty for women. I couldn't accept one part of the Quran and not the other."
Guiuseppina, now known as Fatima, was a Roman Catholic nun, studying theology and living in a convent in Modena in central Italy. She began reading the Quran, and as her interest grew she started having doubts about her own religion and vocation. She took to visiting the Islamic Center in Milan, and finally after a great deal of soul searching, she renounced her vows and converted to Islam. Today, she is married to a fellow Muslim.
Daniela was born in Sicily and became a convert nine years ago, when she married an Egyptian. She willingly obeys all the rules of her new faith. "When I go out, I always wear a scarf over my head and I keep my legs and arms covered," she said. "A woman should keep all parts of feminine beauty covered, because only her husband has the right to see them. It seems perfectly right to me." In spite of her acceptance of what other Western Women might see as limitations, Daniela claims her relationship with her husband is one of absolute equality.
Franco Leccesi, who prefers to be known as Omar, claims the precise rules laid down by Islam help a person gain greater self discipline, which in turn leads to physical and spiritual improvement. Looking back to the old days before he converted seven years ago, he said: "I always used to try to impose my own self discipline, but it never lasted very long." Added the 42 year Neapolitan artist: "but in the past six years I've noticed a dramatic improvement in myself. If you pray five times a day it also forces you to break off from the daily treadmill. It makes you stop and reflect and prevents you from becoming an automation, who lives his life mechanically.
"One thing that strikes me very deeply is the dramatic difference between old people in many Muslim countries, and those in the West." he added. There, the elderly are often far more lucid and energetic, right up until old age, they often have remarkable physical and mental powers in comparison with people of the same age over here. Its largely due to the lifestyle they learn from childhood, which enables them to eliminate stress and to do without the kind of things that poison our systems. We westerns have lost so much of the spiritual dimension of our lives. Its as though we've fallen into a deep sleep. We're living in a world that is so empty- it's very frightening to contemplate."
Like most Italians, Leccesi was brought up a Roman Catholic, but for years he felt that something was missing from his life. He says, "When I read the Bible, I totally agreed with everything it said, but I saw that practice was very different from the theory. People didn't behave in a way that did (the bible) justice", he said. A series of visits to the Naples mosques, together with the Italian friend who had already converted to the Islamic faith, convinced Leccesi that becoming a Muslim would give him what he defines as "the something extra" that he was looking for.
His friends were skeptical at first. "It was quite hard at the beginning. People were upset because it seemed such a strange thing to do. To them, it was a step into the unknown. Some of my more intelligent friends looked at me with a sort of admiration, even though they still thought I was a bit crazy," said Leccesi. His wife found the decision hard to accept at first. For a start, she had to get used to calling the man she married as Franco by his new name of Omar. "Now, she sometimes calls me Franco and sometimes Omar, though I really don't mind which," said Leccesi. "You can't force people to believe the things you do, and I've never tried with her, but even she is showing more interest than she once did. You could now describe her as a sympathizer."
Muslim population as a whole is nearly 30,000. For years Rome's community has been forced to pray in an annex of the cramped Islamic Center in the residential Parioli neighborhood of the city. Now more than two decades after the idea was first proposed by the late King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Rome's Muslims are finally getting ready to take possession of their own mosque- a magnificent, 17 domed structure, whose prayer hall alone will accommodate 2000 people at a time.
Abdurrahman feels totally integrated with the people whose religion he has chosen to adopt, and he predicts, in the years to come, that many more Europeans will follow suit.
"Islam rises above cultural divisions," he said. "I am a Muslim, just as a Filipino or an Indonesian may be. There is absolutely no difference. The rhythm of my lifestyle is similar to theirs, and different from that of the society to which I once belonged. I pray five times a day, and in between those prayers I find I'm not angry or violent. I'm not competitive and I don't prevaricate. I think in the future there are going to be a great many more people who will make the same choice as I have."

Nasi Dagang

Pada hari Jumaat lepas, while surfing through the internet, suddenly my stomach was calling for a new menu which not available in my neighbourhood, Perth City or even in Australia itself. The new menu is called Nasi Dagang, it's not suitable to be called rice trade/commerce. The original recipe was taken from myresepi.com, and I've modified & simplified it(so it's not original anymore, no copyright law against me), to make it more convenience and saving my cooking time.Let's cook...
Bahan-bahan:
Untuk Nasi Dagang :
1- Beras basmati 2 and half cup, half cup of glutinous rice, and a spoonful of raw rice.
2-A large shallot
3-A 1-cm ginger
4-A half to spoonful of sea salt(depends on the saltiness of your salt, follow your taste)
5-A small spoonful of Fenugreek
6-A small pack of coconut milk powder(can use more if u want to )

How to cook rice:
1- Mix all the rices together, wash and rinse them if necessary, and I put 4 cups of water, and soak them for a while.
2- Thin slicing the shallot , as well as the ginger
3- solubilize the coconut milk powder in cold water, make sure it dissolve perfectly(up to you)
4-Mix the ingredients together in rice cooker and cook them.

Bahan-bahan utk lauknya:
1-A pack of 5-6 pieces of Spanish Mackerel or blue mackerel or any other fish you like, you also can substitute with chicken or meat.
 2-An Onion, 3-5 garlics, 4cm ginger, 5-7 small hot chilies, 1 cm prawn paste/belacan
3- 2-3 tablespoon of fish curry powder and chili powder.(use the type of curry accordingly)
4-4-6 slices of dried tamarind fruit/asam keping/asam gelugor or you can just use tamarind paste/puree
5-Cooking Oil
6-2 pack of coconut milk powder
7- Salt and sugar

Cara2nya :
1- Blend semua bahan dalam nombor 2
2- Larutkan santan serbuk dalam satu mangkuk air sejuk, larutkan semuanya
3-Tumis/garingkan curry and chili powder dgn minyak masak dalam kuali/periuk dgn api perlahan(2-3min). Jangan sampai hangit/burned
5- masukkan 1 liter air suam/panas /sejuk kedalm  periuk yg ada tumisan tersebut, followed by the fish
6- Kuatkan api, masak 15-20 min hingga ikan masak, then masukkan santan yg dilarutkan & asam keping
7- after about 5 minutes, adjust the taste with salt and sugar.
8-hidangkan dengan nasi.

P/s: sayur ikut selera masing2. I just use green bean shoot. Gambar xda, maby next time.Selamat mencuba, tak sampai 1 jam dah siap masak!!!!  :))))).

SUNNATS UPON AWAKENING

1. Immediately upon awakening rub the face and the eyes with both the palms in order to remove
the effects of sleep. ( Shamaaile Tirmidhi )
2. When the eyes open in the morning recite this dua:

Trans: All praise is due to Allah who brought us to life after having granted us death and to Him
will we be resurrected. (Bukhari, Abu Dawood, Muslim)
3. When awakening from sleep cleanse the mouth with a Miswaak. (Musnad Ahmad, Abu Dawood, pg.

4. The use of the Miswaak should be repeated when making Wudhu. Using the Miswaak upon
awakening is a separate Sunnat . (Bazlul Majhood,“Commentary of Abu Dawood” Vol.1 pg.35 )

followed when wearing a vest. When wearing a shoe, first put on the right shoe. When removing
any garment or shoe, first remove the left, then the right. This is the sunnat method when
removing any garment from the body (Bukhari, Tirmidhi “ the chapter on clothing” and
Shamaaile Tirmidhi )
6. Before immersing the hands into any utensils, wash them thrice thoroughly. ( Tirmidhi ‐ Vol. 1,

Install Windows7 on Toshiba Protege M200 & Acer Travelmate C300 without CD/DVD Rom using network PXE

HI and Salam...
Last year I bought 2 tablet pcs, one is Toshiba M200 and the other is Acer Travelmate C300. Toshiba M200 or I just called it M200 was initially came with its original old early version of Windows Xp for tablet pc, with full tablet functionality, 2 usb port, so on &so forth. However, there was no toshiba internal or external Cd/Dvd player provided. Of Course, if there was one, the price surely not bargainable as what I got eventhough both were bought from ebay(You know sometimes people on ebay cheat here & there). So the M200 now is practically used by my wife and lately it has slowed down like an ant wants to run 10km marathon. While the C300 came in with just Windows Xp sp1 installed, no tablet functionality BUT 2 working Usb ports. However somewhere in May 2009, the motherboard circuit of the both Usb was burn due to some reason which I'm not going to tell here, and Yeah, now faulty Usb. Bye bye C300!!!.
Interestingly, my wife's lenovo is upgradable to windows 7, and you know windows 7 much more faster than other previous windows especially the Vista. Suddenly a positive energy out of nowhere has entered my brain and creating multiple spark of impulses leading to production of thunderous ideas and questions on how to install Windows 7 to the 2 snails of my tablet. Here I share the instruction to install Window 7 on M200 and C300.

TOOLS :
1- Another laptop, at least windows Xp as its Os...we call it as Laptop A
2- Your M200 or C300 ...we call it as Laptop B
3- A LAN cable
4- A software called tftpd32 standard edition (zip) (481 kB) or  Download TFTPBoot.exe(154MB) (mirror) (mirror)  ...both working on my laptop.
5- Windows 7 CD/DVD and Laptop B drivers.
6- An external DVD-Rom if your laptop don't has the internal one.
7- A cup of coffee or tea.

STEPS:
1- Make sure your laptop support minimal requirement of Windows 7.
2- Back up your files if  you want to.
3- For Laptop A, Download tftpd32 standard edition (zip) or (481 kB) or TFTPBoot.exe(154MB) (mirror) (mirror), this software , unzip it and install in C: drive. Like this picture if tftpboot.exe:
4-Open tftpboot folder and click on tftpd32.exe.When Tftpd32 opens, click the “Settings” button and set all the parameters required like this:
5-Click OK,Click the “DHCP Server” tab and copy the paramaters like this(below), click SAVE and close .

6- Disable any firewalls in Laptop A.
7- Set the network adapter on Laptop A to have a static IP address of 192.168.1.5 or any IP address you like, see the pictures below & ensure it look alike :

8- Laptop A and Laptop B is connected to their own power cable.
9- Connect LAN cable from Laptop A to Laptop B.Connect your external DVD-rom if required and put in your Windows 7 CD/DVD. Share the DVD-Rom drive with a share name of “CD” and make sure “Everyone” has permission for it.
 10- Click(run) Tftpd32.exe in Laptop A.
11- On Laptop B,  enter bios screen and select boot from the network (called PXE) for  C300, OR just press F12 for M200 right after turning on the Laptop B, and select boot from network ( PXE) and press ENTER button.
12-A screen will pop up in Laptop B telling it try to connect to Laptop A.
13- Follow the instruction that appears on the screen.
14- Then Windows Preinstallation Environment or Windows PE will load. Have a sip of your coffee and tea, because the loading will take sometimes.
15- MAKE SURE YOU DONT TURN OFF ANY LAPTOP, DON'T DISCONNECT THE LAN CABLE  AND TURN OFF ANY SLEEP OR HIBERNATE OR STANDBY ABILITY OF LAPTOP A.
16- This Windows PE screen will show like this :
and map your drive NET USE y: \\servername\sharename
and in my case type Type “net use y: \\192.168.1.5\cd” and then you will be asked for username and password, So enter your username" username@domain" and password of Laptop A like this:

17- Then type "Run Y:\setup.exe"
18- The windows 7 installation screen will come out and follow the instruction of the installation.
19- When Windows 7 already in Laptop B, turn off tftpd32.exe in Laptop A, and revert or restore the Laptop A to its original setting(on firewall, etc)
20- Install required drivers. Most of the old drivers(windows xp support) for my M200 and C300 are working perfectly..
21- Rotation functionality for M200, you can download from http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp, choose M400 Tablet Pc utility/rotation utility. After installation, play around with tablet PC setting, and you can use potrait or landscape views. :)
22- For Acer Travelmate M300, after installation of all the drivers, please update your driver by following these steps :
  • Reboot your Tablet to safe mode
  • Open Computer Management, update driver for the Display Adapter using THIS (i855_win7)drivers (only this version works!). Please update driver manually by picking up your selected driver above...just choose any file started with a303, a305 etc.. just choose one at a time. (I've tried 2-3 times by choosing different file, but I'm not remember which file I chose)
  • Wait for the succesful installation message, reboot in normal mode.
  • Wait for the ‘New Hardware Found’ dialog to finish, it should give you error for one of the adapter
  • Reboot to normal mode.
  • Wait for the ‘New Hardware Found’ dialog to finish, it should be successful this time
  • Reboot to normal mode again.(I rebooted 3 times)
  • Change the color depth to 32-bit if necessary
23-Then for screen rotation functionality, install your driver or download this Acer TravelMate C300 Tablet Button Driver. Then restart your computer.
24- Then run regedit.exe, find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intel\CUI\DISPLAY1\
, add new key by clicking{ edit-->new DWORD (32-bit) value} , name it to "EnableRotation" , right click on the file, click modify ,set the value data to 00000001 and choose Hexadecimal. Then click ok and close registry. Refresh or restart the tablet.

P/s: I'm not an expert, but hopefully my guide will help you. Now both laptop work like horse on Windows 7!!!!!Cheers!!!
