Loceng Asap siap dipasang

Smoke detector installation has become compulsory by the year 2011. Therefore the owner of our rented house had made an arragement for the installation. The installation involved modification of some wiring of  the main electrical board , which located at the underground, just beside the stair of  the main entrance. Occasionally, his his son will come up and confirmed with his dad there was no wiring problem just by looking at the two light bulbs inside the the house. Akhirnya, saat yang ditunggu-tunggu telah tiba, the electrician telah datang dengan membawa tools for the alarm installment. Mula-mula, he looked for the suitable location which was at ceiling of  the living room. Then after about 15 minutes, the alarm was successfully installed and he briefed us the dos and don'ts.There was a Qs and As session. We found out he actually had to installed 5 smokes detectors in a five differrent houses in the complex, and we also said his son was a very good son bla3..and the elctrician said actually he had bribed his son by buying him a magazine, a drink and the most importantly was a promise to buy a big present for his birthday. Then we finished off the conversation and he went to the next house. Actually he leaved the complex at late 7.00pm...Then I started wondering....pakcik tu bawa anaknya ikut pegi kerja skali, tp kene bribe itu ini especially the special present. I suspected the son is the youngest. Jadi bawa anaknya pegi kerja skali indirectly nak bg tau anaknya tentang kerjanya. Maybe skrg anaknya x faham, mungkin satu hari nanti hopefully. Selain tu maby nak bg tau yg duit bukan senang nak dapat, kene keje pagi sampai petang, baru dapat belikan special big expensive birthday present. If his intention  macam tu, in which most of the father want their children have an understanding of their work by based on the general rules ' understanding makes life easier', hopefully someday the children get the message. Ingat gak masa sekolah2 dulu,cuti2 abah ajak gi sawah, gi kebun etc..mula2 mcm malas lah, nak mengelak dari tak pegi, tapi pas 2-3 kali pegi baru faham kenapa abah ajak.Banyak belajar dari pengalaman, ilmu bersawah(dari tabur benih hingga tuai padi), ilmu berkebun, ilmu tangkap ikan, ilmu kait kelapa, ilmu panjat pokok dan lain2 lagi. Memang bermanfaat!!!

Darjah 1

Dalam Rokok Ada Darah Babi

Cigarettes may contain traces of pig's blood, an Australian academic says with a warning that religious groups could find its undisclosed presence "very offensive".
University of Sydney Professor Simon Chapman points to recent Dutch research which identified 185 different industrial uses of a pig - including the use of its haemoglobin in cigarette filters.
Prof Chapman said the research offered an insight into the otherwise secretive world of cigarette manufacture, and it was likely to raise concerns for devout Muslims and Jews.
Religious texts at the core of both of these faiths specifically ban the consumption of pork.
"I think that there would be some particularly devout groups who would find the idea that there were pig products in cigarettes to be very offensive," Prof Chapman told AAP on Tuesday.
"The Jewish community certainly takes these matters extremely seriously and the Islamic community certainly do as well, as would many vegetarians.
"It just puts into hard relief the problem that the tobacco industry is not required to declare the ingredients of cigarettes ... they say `that's our business` and a trade secret."
The Dutch research found pig haemoglobin - a blood protein - was being used to make cigarette filters more effective at trapping harmful chemicals before they could enter a smoker's lungs.
Prof Chapman said while tobacco companies had moved voluntarily list the contents of their products on their websites, they also noted undisclosed "processing aids ... that are not significantly present in, and do not functionally affect, the finished product".
This catch-all term hid from public view an array of chemicals and other substances used in the making of tobacco products, he said.
At least one cigarette brand sold in Greece was confirmed as using pig haemoglobin in its processes, Prof Chapman said, and the status of smokes sold was unknown.
"If you're a smoker and you're of Islamic or Jewish faith then you'd probably would want to know and there is no way of finding out," Prof Chapman said.
The Sydney office of British American Tobacco Australia was contacted by AAP.
A spokeswoman said a comment would be provided although it was not immediately available.
