Repairing laptop NEC Versa E60

Laptop ni laptop tahun 2002 kalau x silap, & beli 2 tahun lepas sbb terdesak xda laptop dgn harga ~RM 500. Agak murah & tidak mengharapkan functionality tahap maksima pun. So masa mula2 beli, previous owner ckp ok, just recently serviced bla2. Specifikasinya:
- Pentium 4-M, Processor 2.0Ghz , RAM 500mb, HD 30G, Ati Radeon IGP 340M, Winxp. Agak slow juga. Selalu hang & frozen je bila pakai tak sampai 10 minit. Lagi cepat hang bila main game. Gamehouse je pun, bukannya strategy game. So aku pun reinstall everything, new windows xp etc. But the problem was still unevenful eventhough I've uninstall & edited Ati Catalyst. I still give a few trials with different OSs- xp, xp lite, xp dark edition, xp sp3, vista, Win7 & ubuntu . Unfortunately, Ubuntu had made me 'buntu' because it had caused harddisk failure, I reckoned it was not due to Ubuntu but 'ajal' of the harddisk. So I had swiped the HD into another old laptop(acer travelmate C300) but the result was the same. As a result, I dumped the laptop but in my heart still hoping maybe someday Allah will show me the way to repair it. Finally a few days ago, I'm about to throw the NEC as a garbage when suddenly I realized that I haven't reset the cmos battery of the motherboard and reallign the processor & its cooling system. So I did, and after 4 hours of trial, I've managed to revive the laptop to a better superior perfomance. I manage to reset the bios and installed OS windows xp lite & 1G of RAM. Just within a couple of minutes, the laptop fully recovered. No hang frozen screen thing anymore.Alhamdulillah. I can make this laptop as a game console. :) Here some pictures of the laptop.
